How "LinkedIn" are you?

We at The Falk Group are huge proponents of networking. Partly because we are social creatures and like connecting with friends and business partners -- and meeting new people. Mostly because cold-calling for new business is no fun.
Social Media sites, such as LinkedIn, on the Internet have recently added a whole new dimension to networking. At first I thought LinkedIn was merely a silly popularity contest - like getting as many signatures to your high school year book to prove you had tons of friends. That was my impression until I used the web site to introduce myself to a prospect, which led to a meeting, which led to a PR project. Now I realize how useful the web site can be in communicating with key audiences.
I'm excited to learn more about the network and other Social Media sites on September 15. Krista Canfield, an executive from LinkedIn, is flying into Madison to speak to a group of professionals at the Sheraton. She will be explaining how to use the LinkedIn network to fully maximize its potential.
She will be joined by Jason Weaver, the CEO of Sway, a Madison-based firm that specializes in social media.

I have just discovered your website which I am enjoying thoroughly.
I unfortunatly missed the Linkedin Seminar and am wondering if you have any feedback from it. I too would love to learn how to use it better.
Thanks!
