The presidential election may be over, but another contest – this one to name Milwaukee’s Fearless Leaders – is just heating up.

In October, VITAL Source magazine put out a call to the community asking people to nominate those local citizens whose work exemplifies the values that can transform this community. The nominees are in. Now it time for the general public to weigh in and vote. The five candidates with the most votes as of Nov. 30 will be recognized at a special event in January and in the pages of VITAL Source magazine. In addition, a check for $500 will be given to the local non-profit organization of each leader's choice, thanks to generous sponsors Time Warner Cable and Alverno College.
